Frontier spices
Children in Vietnam

  • Spices: Organic vanilla bean, Organic vanilla extract
  • Country: Madagascar

Clean water is a basic necessity of life, yet people all over the world lack access to it. Frontier helped dig 49 wells serving 38 farming villages in Madagascar. That adds up to clean water for 25,000 men, women and children who previously had difficulty getting it. Thanks in part to our efforts, they now have a significantly improved quality of life.

Building wells in Madagascar

  • Spices: Whole Star Anise, Organic Vietnamese Cinnamon
  • Country: Vietnam

Many children in rural Vietnam cannot attend school simply because they live too far away. Frontier is helping strengthen communities by providing lodging, food and school supplies for 475 children so they can stay at their schools during the week. We believe that providing opportunities for education is a vital part of any community.

Feeding school children in India

  • Spices: Organic Ground Turmeric, Organic Cayenne, Organic Black Peppercorns
  • Country: India

Everyone deserves a nutritious meal. In south central India, we help make this a reality for hundreds of children who wouldn't otherwise have access to healthy, sanitary food. We work with Akshaya Patra, a foundation providing meals to children in remote areas. To help, we funded a food truck specially designed to traverse rough terrain and keep food clean and secure. It's one way we promote good health — not just at home, but around the world.

Small Organic Farmers Association in Sri Lanka

  • Spices: Fair Trade Nutmeg, Fair Trade Ginger
  • Country: Sri Lanka

Sharing knowledge is sharing goodness. One of our partners in sustainable sourcing is the Small Organic Farmers Association — a 2,000-member cooperative of small-scale farmers in Sri Lanka. Frontier supported the construction of a training center to educate farmers on organic, eco-friendly cultivation techniques. By providing a place to do so, we foster the production of sustainable botanicals.
